Discount fees are available to HCC & DVA gold card holders, pensioners and patients admitted to Sydney Adventist Hospital within the last 12 months.
Terms & Conditions apply. Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates may be available depending on your level of cover. Please check with your Insurer.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy:
You may reschedule or cancel your appointment without charge anytime up to 24 hours before your appointment. Same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without giving us any notice, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.

Telehealth Appointments:

Telehealth is available from anywhere. Telehealth allows you to consult your health professional remotely when a physical examination is not required. If we have clinical concerns that require further treatment, then we will refer you to a local practitioner.

Medicare rebates will not be available for patients who are located outside Australia at the time of the appointment. To be eligible for Medicare-funded telehealth services you must have visited ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre for a face-to-face appointment at least once in the 12 months prior to the date of your telehealth consultation. If you haven't had a face-to-face appointment within the last 12 months, you will incur the full consultation cost as no Medicare item number can be applied.

ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre offers two types of telehealth appointments: Video or Phone.  The Medicare rebate you may be entitled to will vary depending on the type of telehealth appointment you book, so it is important to choose correctly.

• Video Telehealth Appointments are considered best telehealth practice and Medicare offers rebates for a range of services.  To access video telehealth appointments join our Digital Waiting Room at your scheduled appointment time. Appointments are conducted via Healthdirect secure online video platform.

• Phone Telehealth Appointments via a call from your clinician on your listed number at the pre-arranged appointment time. Medicare offers a limited range rebates for phone telehealth appointments and for this reason you must book phone consults through our reception team.
