A Supported Pathway To Proactive Wellness

Located on the first level of Sydney Adventist Hospitals’ Tulloch building, ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Clinic offers transformative 12-week intensive lifestyle change programs. Expertly designed & available for the San’s outpatients, staff & visitors & open to the public - our program empowers individuals to proactively target their weight, activity, emotional well-being and health marker goals.

ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Clinic Highlights

  • Experienced multi-disciplinary team: including a GP, Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist and Health Coach who either have additional experience or qualifications in lifestyle medicine.

  • Supported participant engagement with up to 30 sessions including health coaching, shared-cared medical appointments, tailored nutrition plans, plant-based cooking workshops, individual and group exercise programs.

  • Affordable and accessible: Priced for value, our program offers the option to claim rebates from Medicare and Health Insurance. The option of telehealth and individually tailored programs is also available.

One of the nutrition targets we advocate for healthy living is to help participants increase their intake of a wide range of whole plant foods. As our nutrition plans and cooking classes teach the art of incorporating a delicious range of vegetables, fruits, high fibre grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices into everyday meals. We hold regular plant-based cooking & nutrition workshops that anyone is welcome to attend.

Another simple first step to wellness is to get out walking - our Heart Foundation walking group meets on Monday afternoons on the Sydney Adventist Hospital Village Green - free to attend & open to all exercise abilities - join via walking.heartfoundation.org.au/walking/group/elia-wellness

If you have patients to refer or would like to enquire about our programs please call us on (02) 9480 6140 to book a consultation with any of the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre’s team of clinicians.
